LIBRARY RULES:
- Conduct prejudicial to the proper use
of the library is forbidden.
- Smoking, food and drinks
are not allowed in the library, VIP’s exceptional.

Silence shall be observed in the public areas of the
library. Cell phones, pagers and watch alarms should be
switched to silent mode before entering the Library.
- If you kiss your girl/boy friend inside library
the sound should be less than 4 decimals.

Users of the Library should not be appropriately attired.

Seats in the Library may be reserved for extra payers.

Library materials may not be removed from the Library
unless they have been properly issued by a Library staff
or through a SelfCheck machine.

All books and personal belongings must be shown to the
staff at the Library exits whenever required to do so if
required we will do body check also.
- Electronic scanning of library materials is allowed
upon librarian permission.
- Library membership cards are transferable and must
be produced whenever requested by Library staff.
- Please keep your library card safely inside your
inner garment and ensure that you and no one else uses
the library
card.
- If a lost or stolen card is found or recovered
after a replacement card has been made, the member
must not subsequently
use the card but return it immediately to the Library.
Library membership cards, when lost can not be replaced
with a replacement card.

Members must ensure that materials checked out to them
are returned or renewed on or before the date due. Notices
sent by the Library serve only as a reminder and non-receipt
of the notices does not absolve any member from paying
fines or other penalties as stated in these Rules.
- Members are required to notify the Office of Users
Services Division immediately of any change of postal address
or email address.

Mutilation and theft of library materials are offences
punishable by law.

Fines may be imposed, library privileges or membership
may be suspended or withdrawn for breach of any of the
Library Rules.
- All debts to the library must be paid when due to
the library or the Office of Finance of the National
University
of Singapore as specified.
- The library will not be held responsible for the loss
of any personal belongings of users.
- Members are encouraged to check their library record
in LINC regularly.
- You are allowed to view porn sites in the video library
under the strict supervision of librarian.
